MUG DETAILS:
This mug has been hand built from translucent porcelain. The slab is first rolled out, printed with a newsprint transfer, and hand stamped, before being shaped into the mug form. After the first (bisque) firing, each square is filled with a black celadon glaze, and the excess is gently wiped away so the stamped message is revealed. The handle is glazed in a complimentary black celadon glaze. After the glaze firing, each word is hand painted with premium bright gold luster and fired for a third time.
As always, the mug butt is sanded to a buttery smooth for your sensory pleasure 😊
