These “wee cups” are from my Holiday 2025 collection I’ve discounted them so they might find a good home.
Daisyware Wee cup—holds approx 3.5 oz
Each Wee Cup is slab built from colored porcelain that I mix in small batches in my studio. I stamp the surface of each slab with various sizes of daisy stamps, with the intention of filling the flowers with different colors of glaze once bisque fired. To create the desired effect, I flood each daisy with either a celadon glaze or velvet underglaze. The interior of each wee cup is finished in a contrasting color. I love the endless possibilities of color combos!
The bottom of each cup is sanded to a buttery smooth texture that you will most definitely want to touch. Each piece is finished with a burnishing of neutral oil which provides a subtle sheen and highlights the texture. The exterior is then sprayed with Liquid Quartz to seal then surface.
