Sweary mug with gold luster detailing—slab built from transparent porcelain, printed with an underglaze newsprint transfer to provide the grid outlines, then each exclamation mark and letter is hand stamped across the surface of the mug. After bisque firing the lettering/statement is filled with a bright red underglaze to accentuate the message, and the rest of the squares are filled with obsidian celadon glaze. Once glaze fired the message is then traced with gold luster and fired a 3rd time.
The bottom of each mug is sanded to a buttery smooth that invites you to touch.
