Small Bloom mug—holds approx 10 oz
Each Bloom mug is slab built from colored porcelain that I mix in small batches in my studio. I then create layers of pattern, texture, and color—utilizing newsprint transfers, my trusty daisy stamp, and both velvet underglaze and other glazes. The interior and handle of each mug are glazed in a complimentary color to the rest of the pieces color scheme.
The bottom of each piece is sanded to a buttery smooth texture that invites you to touch, and the surface of each piece is sprayed with Liquid Quartz to seal the surface.
