This heart vase is hand built from porcelain. First, the slab is rolled out, then printed with a newsprint transfer to provide the grid for the stamping, then each heart is hand stamped one by one. After the bisque firing, each square is filled with a snowy white celadon glaze, and red is applied to each raised heart before firing for a second time in the glaze firing. Additionally, the bottom of the vase has been sanded smooth to avoid any scratching of surfaces.
Vase can also be used as a cache plant pot—meaning it does not have a drain hole
Approx measurements: 4 1/2 inches tall with drain plate, and 4 1/4 inches wide at opening
