The “Daisyware” line is an idea that has been years in the making. I wanted to find a translucent porcelain that I could handbuild with, and I finally found it! The next step was to layer different sized daisy stamps all over the vessel, with the end goal of adding celadon glazes to the daisies after bisque firing. The results are exactly as I imagined! The color in each daisy really shines through in the light, and creates a kind of stained glass effect. The pieces are extremely light weight, yet solid and durable. The different textures are a pleasure to hold in your hand, or just appreciate on the table. I hope that you love this design as much as I do!

***note*** thin porcelain—especially slab built vessels—has a mind of its own, and is prone to warping in the kiln. Every effort has been made to create a “kind of” round opening on mugs, cups, and tumblers, but some pieces are off round. There is absolutely nothing wrong with them! As with any handmade object—they are one-of-a-kind and still fully functional and beautiful.
